Luverne Water Department

 

The Luverne Water Department plans for the ongoing operation and maintenance of the Water Utility. The City of Luverne participates in the Lewis & Clark Rural Water System project for long-term quality water supply for the community. The Department actively promotes water conservation.

Status of the Source Water Protection Plan:  (Spring 2003)

The water supply system is preparing a protection plan for the wellhead protection area(s) that have been approved by the Minnesota Department of Health under provisions of Minnesota Rules Chapter 4720.
