Why is the recycling container so big? There are many reasons for this; many more items can be recycled, the containers are only picked up twice a month, there will be times that there are 3 weeks between pickups, and if more items are recyclable in the long-term the 90 gallon containers will be less restrictive than a smaller container. When in doubt, throw it out!
When should I put my recycling container out? The recycling truck leaves early in the morning and has no set route, you will want to have your recycling container out the night before your pickup day.
Has refuse pick-up changed? No. Please place your garbage containers out on the same weekly schedule.
Who do I contact if I have questions? You may contact City Offices at 449-2388 to speak with someone directly.
By now you have no doubt heard of Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Rock County. This organization, chartered through the Minnesota National Guard, is formed to support active duty Service Members and Military Families.
