Mosquito Spraying

The Public Works Department will be spraying for mosquitoes tonight, July 15th, weather permitting.

Mosquitoes need standing water to lay eggs. You can help reduce the mosquito population around your home by eliminating standing water.

Airport Fly-In - August 24, 2024

Make plans to Fly-In or Drive-In to the Luverne Municipal Airport on Saturday, August 24 from 7 AM to Noon. 

 

Join us for an All You Can Eat Pancake & Sausage Breakfast!
Then stick around to watch the airplanes, look at the cool cars and air ambulance, watch the skydivers, play on the inflatables, and enjoy free Young Eagle airplane rides for ages 8-17 (Weather Permitting). We hope to see you there!

Temporary Closures

Due to recent flooding, the Luverne City Park and Riverside Park remains temporarily closed. Our Public Works Department is working to clean up these areas and allow them to dry. Thank you for your understanding.

If you have a sump pump in your basement, please make sure it is discharging outside into the lawn, and NOT into the sanitary sewer. Thank you.
