Are you interested in building a home in Luverne? The Luverne Economic Development Authority has beautiful lots for sale ranging in price from $31,000 to $65,000 in the following subdivisions

The Residential Lot Incentive Program offers a $2,500 credit per person on the price of the lot. A person qualifies for the $2,500 credit if they are listed as the spouse or dependent on the applicants Federal Tax return. For example, if a family of four was to purchase a lot, qualify for the credit, complete construction, and obtain a certificate of occupancy, they are eligible to receive a $10,000 discount on the price of the lot. The maximum credit per household is $12,500. The $2,500 credit only applies to the Manfred Heights Addition and does not apply to the Uithoven Addition or the Lopau Second Addition.
 
To secure a lot, a $2500 down payment is required. A down payment will secure a lot for up to 6 months and is non-refundable. Once the lot is paid for in full, a residential dwelling must be constructed within 12 months of purchase.
 

Many of the additions have Protective Covenants.  Please click on the link at the bottom of the page to find the Protective Covenants for each subdivision. 

 

Setback requirements:  Front = 25'   /   Rear = 25'    /  Side = 5'
